Dear Ruud, Thank you very much for your receiption report from June, 8.th,2026 on 40m, 7029 KHz (QSL still in preparation). I have used a DYI Fourty 9er Kit with an Output of around 1.5 Watts (measured with 50 Ohm dummyload). Because of loss in the 1:49 EFHW Transformer (Unun) and low mounted End fed antenna (inverted V), the estimated RF Output is lower than 1 Watt (QRPP). Thank you also for the audio file which gives me a good impression of the signal. I estimate the SNR to be not better than 5 dB, so you are really good in detecting weak signals. Vy 73 de DL9UF, Uwe

Thanks Ruud for the CW report, QSO of 15/05/2026 with Tony EI5EM, I only work in CW on HF with an FTDX10 and a Butternut vertical HF6V antenna.

Thank you Ruud for your interest in my SOTA I/VE-239 and POTA IT-1456 activation on 9th April 2026. I was operating from JN66CA using a home made QRPLabs QMX 60-15m with 5W connectected to a modified G5RV 40–10m antenna. The propagation was good with RBN reports from ZL trough Long Path on 20m. Ruud, thank you for sending an email reporting your SWL reception of my 15 m CW signal from a SOTA summit today. I was operating from Josephine Peak near Los Angeles, California. My station was an Elecraft K3 running 100w to a homebrew 15 m Moxon antenna. My backpack was about 12 kg for the 6.5 km hike to the summit with 600 m of elevation gain, but the results were well worth it. I was able to make 5 summit to summit contacts to stations in Europe. Ruud, I received your qsl a few weeks ago via the DX bureau. I will attempt to send a card back to you. To answer your question about my power level. WSPR signals have the power encoded in the transmission, or at least what the operator has listed as power. I believe your stick on strip on QSL has your answer. WSPR lists power in dbm, the 33 after my grid square 'should' have been my power. 33dbm is 2 watts. if. you are not familiar with dbm to watts there are online tables that will show it. 30dbm is 1watt, for every 3db change power either doubles or halves. 73/bob
