Hello Ruud,
Thank you for the signal report and audio recording of my 20M CW POTA contact with K7UPJ on September 9th, 2026 at 2007Z on 14.064 MHz. I was in Upton Morgan State Forest in Concord, NH using an Icom 705 at 10 Watts and a Chelegance MC750 vertical antenna. It was very nice to receive the report and FB recording of this contact.
73 and enjoy your CW listening,
Mark KA1UUM
Hello Ruud,
It was very nice to receive your email about my contact with DL2AWA from september 11, 2026, thank you.
Good photo from yours antennas.
SWL is a good and interesting hobby.
My radio is a Xiegu G90 and I use only 15W, my antenna is home made EFHW tuned for 20m band.
I also have a (tr)uSDX and a QCX both 5W that I use when portable.
Thanks again for the report, I hope you can see me again.
My best 73 DE CT7BPF Carlos
Thank you for sending a SWL report of my SOTA activation on August 6th, 2026. It was done with QRP 2W and GP antena for 14MHz.
Your report is very much appreciated.
Thank you for sending a SWL report of my SOTA activation, 5 Watts QRP to an End Fed Half Wave Antenna as an inverted V, 5m above ground. Your report is very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your message, SWL. Warm greetings from the south, where it's very hot…
Hello Ruud, many thanks for the reception report and the recording! Shortwave listening still alive, great !!!
Thx for QSL regarding SK3SIX
What a surprise to receive your SWL report on 6M FT8. The multi-hop E openings this summer from Arizona to Europe have been noteworthy for sure. During the week you received my signal I recorded nearly 200 QSOs from EU on 6M. Reception with a elegantly simple system is a great accomplishment!
My 6M system consists of 8el LFA at ~26M, transmitting with 1.5KW. Down sloping terrain towards EU is optimum making the effective antenna height more than 30M.
My reply to PA0M sending "RR73" on 50.3136 MHZ at 172215 on 20260627 is confirmed.
Thanks! Best 73s – Chuck
Dear Ruud,
Thank you very much for your receiption report from June, 8.th,2026 on 40m, 7029 KHz (QSL still in preparation).
I have used a DYI Fourty 9er Kit with an Output of around 1.5 Watts (measured with 50 Ohm dummyload).
Because of loss in the 1:49 EFHW Transformer (Unun) and low mounted End fed antenna (inverted V), the estimated RF Output is lower than 1 Watt (QRPP).
Thank you also for the audio file which gives me a good impression of the signal.
I estimate the SNR to be not better than 5 dB, so you are really good in detecting weak signals.

Many thanks Ruud for QSL, it was very nice to hear my QSO. I was running a TS570 with 5 watts to an EFHW for 40 metres 73 de G3TZA
Hi Ruud and Good Morning from JY land, Good to know and confirm to you my QSO with PA3FQK on 6m FT8. Fine on your first RX for JY and wish you will have many more JY stations in your log. I work all modes on all HF bands. I will be pleased to receive more of your reports. Keep the good work up in good health and safe.

Hello Rudd, Thank you very much for the signal report, fantastic photo of your receiving setup and audio clip! I was running 100w in to a Extended Double Zepp antenna cut for 80m band (about 105m long in total) and aprox 25m high. It is Fed with open wire feeder and a home brew balanced L matching unit.
I will send you a QSL card soon all the best DE VK3ACU Jordan
Hi, thanks for your swl report. I was using a Xiegu G106 set at 3W rf power and vertical antenna. Best regards de IZ3ZVO
Dear Ruud!
I enjoyed listening to my CW QSO and am grateful for the opportunity to see my work from a different perspective.
Using such compact antennas in urban areas for shortwave reception was a revelation to me.
Thank you for your work
Thanks Ruud for the CW report, QSO of 15/05/2026 with Tony EI5EM, I only work in CW on HF with an FTDX10 and a Butternut vertical HF6V antenna.
Hi RUUD, I was very surprised and amazed by your reception report, and I thank you for it. I'll reply to you by email in more detail, but I'm very happy you listened. Warm greetings from Italy, I can feel it in the air.

Thank you Ruud for your interest in my SOTA I/VE-239 and POTA IT-1456 activation on 9th April 2026. I was operating from JN66CA using a home made QRPLabs QMX 60-15m with 5W connectected to a modified G5RV 40–10m antenna. The propagation was good with RBN reports from ZL trough Long Path on 20m. I wish you good earing DX! 73 de IK3SWB, Enzo
Thanks for the SWL report! Best 73 OM
Hi Ruud, Many thanks for sending my 2m SWL report on 27-12-2025. I was using my Yaesu FT991A and a 5 element beam by Dual. Best 73 de M0AAM Bob.
